Hi, my name is Cameron. I'm the head of the planning department here at DIY Pools. I've been handling pool plans, engineering, and running permits since I was a teenager working in my dad's pool company. This is my expertise, and I look forward to supporting you with your pool project. If you're watching this video, you have already approved your design, and now we are ready to start drafting your construction plans. Congratulations. This is such an exciting milestone. Now let me walk you through some next steps and key points to keep in mind. First, let's talk about timeline. The lead time for drafting your construction plans is five business days. Our team works diligently to create accurate and detailed plans for your dream pool. So it takes time to make sure that this is right. Now let's talk about the design adjustments. If you need to make adjustments, now is the time to do so. We want to make sure that these changes are reflected in your construction plans. Once we move forward with engineering and permitting, these changes become much more complex and costly. Now let's discuss removing conceptual elements. These plans will be verified by engineers and inspected by your building department. Any part of the design that was only conceptual should be removed at this time. This could include pergolas, outdoor kitchens, barbecue areas, any walls or other hardscape features. If something was shown just for visualization but won't be built during the pool construction, please let us know now. Another important point is your equipment location. We mention this during your approval form. The equipment location affects plumbing runs, electrical requirements, and overall efficiency. Your equipment location will also need to be accurate for permits and inspections later in this process. If you want your equipment moved from the proposed location, please let us know now. For those of you who have a landscape package added to your account, we will begin the detailed architectural plans once you approve your construction plans. This ensures your pool integrates beautifully with the surrounding landscape. Thank you for choosing DIY Pools and Spas for your project. We're excited to bring your vision to life, and we're committed to making sure this process runs as smooth as possible. If you have any questions about the next steps, please reach out as soon as possible. And thank you.
